Cisco compatible SFP+ transceiver supports up to 40km link lengths over single-mode fiber (SMF) via an LC duplex connector. Each SFP transceiver module is individually tested to be used on a series of Cisco switches, routers, servers, network interface card (NICs) etc. With the rapid growth of network traffic, data centers are constantly upgraded and iterated, bringing huge opportunities to the optical module industry.

Product Highlights
10 G Connectivity for Data Center
DWDM 10G optical modules are widely used in telecommunications, cable TV and data centers with large data traffic, especially ultra-large-scale cloud service providers or multi-tenant data centers (hosted data centers).

SFP Module
The small form-factor pluggable (SFP) is a compact, hot-pluggable network interface module used for both telecommunication and data communications applications. An SFP transceiver interface on networking hardware is a modular slot for a media-specific transceiver in order to connect a fiber-optic cable or sometimes a copper cable. The advantage of using fiber module compared to fixed interfaces (e.g. modular connectors in Ethernet switches) is that individual ports can be equipped with any suitable type of transceiver as needed.
